1. What our site stores

  1. Theme: remembers whether you chose light or dark mode (browser storage key cp-theme).
  2. Research-use confirmation: remembers that you've confirmed you're 18 or over and buying for research, so the notice doesn't reappear on every page (crp-age-ok).
  3. Cart: keeps the items in your cart in this browser until you check out or remove them.
  4. Where it lives: this information stays in your browser's local storage. It isn't sent to us.

2. Third parties

  1. Checkout: TagadaPay, our payment partner, sets its own cookies on the checkout to process payments securely and prevent fraud. They're covered by TagadaPay's own policies.
  2. Hosting and security: Cloudflare, our hosting provider, may set strictly necessary cookies that protect the site from abuse.

3. Analytics and advertising

  1. Meta Pixel: the Facebook (Meta) Pixel is the only analytics or advertising tool on our site. While it's active, it sets Meta cookies in your browser and sends Meta information about your visit, such as the pages you view and actions like adding to your cart. We use it to measure our ads on Facebook and Instagram.
  2. Meta's use: Meta may also use this information for its own purposes, including personalising ads, under Meta's privacy policy. Our privacy policy explains more.
  3. Nothing else: we don't use any other analytics or advertising tools.

4. Managing storage

  1. Clearing it: you can clear cookies and site data at any time in your browser settings. The site still works; you'll just see the research-use notice again, and your cart will be empty.
  2. Opting out of the Meta Pixel: block or clear cookies in your browser, or turn on its tracking protection. If you use Facebook or Instagram, you can also manage your ad preferences and “Your activity off Meta technologies” in Meta's Accounts Center.
