Privacy policy

We collect the personal information we need to take and deliver your orders, and nothing more. This policy explains what that is, who sees it and how you can access or correct it.

1. Who we are

  1. Us: Certified Research Peptides, Level 57, 25 Martin Place, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia.
  2. This policy: explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

2. What we collect

  1. Contact and delivery details: your name, email address, phone number, and shipping and billing addresses.
  2. Order details: what you bought and when, order totals, and our correspondence about your order.
  3. Payment: handled by our payment partner. We receive confirmation that a payment went through, not your full card number.
  4. Messages: anything you send us by email.
  5. Technical information: information your browser sends when you visit, such as IP address and browser type, used to run and protect the site.
  6. Advertising data: information about your visit collected through the Meta Pixel, explained in section 4.

3. How we use it

  1. Fulfilling orders: taking payment, packing, shipping and tracking your order.
  2. Customer support: answering questions, handling returns and fixing problems.
  3. Legal obligations: including tax and record-keeping requirements.
  4. Marketing: only if you've opted in, for example to our newsletter. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
  5. Advertising: measuring how our ads on Facebook and Instagram perform, through the Meta Pixel.
  6. Security: preventing fraud and misuse of the site.

4. Analytics and advertising

  1. Meta Pixel: the Facebook (Meta) Pixel is the only analytics or advertising tool on our site, and we don't use any other analytics. It is code from Meta that, while it's active, sends Meta information about your visit: the pages you view, actions such as adding to your cart or starting checkout, your IP address and browser details, and identifiers stored in cookies.
  2. How Meta uses it: it helps us measure and deliver our ads. Meta may also use the information for its own purposes, including personalising the ads you see and connecting it to a Facebook or Instagram account, as set out in Meta's privacy policy.
  3. Opting out: you can block or clear cookies in your browser and turn on its tracking protection. If you use Facebook or Instagram, you can also manage your ad preferences and “Your activity off Meta technologies” in Meta's Accounts Center.

5. Who we share it with

  1. Service providers: Cloudflare (website hosting), TagadaPay (checkout, payments and orders), Proton Mail (email), Meta (the Meta Pixel), and Australia Post and DHL (delivery).
  2. Our payment partner: TagadaPay processes your payment and your order.
  3. Carriers: Australia Post Express and DHL Express receive the name, address and contact details needed to deliver your order.
  4. Authorities: where the law requires us to.
  5. Never sold: we don't sell or rent personal information.

6. Sending information overseas

  1. International orders: the carrier and the customs authorities of the destination country receive the details needed for delivery and import.
  2. Service providers: our providers may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States, the European Union and Switzerland.

7. Cookies and browser storage

  1. Browser storage: we store a few small items in your browser to make the site work, and the Meta Pixel uses cookies. Our cookie policy lists them.

8. Security and retention

  1. Security: we take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access.
  2. Retention: we keep order and transaction records for at least five years, as Australian tax record-keeping rules require. Other personal information is kept only as long as we need it for the purposes above.

9. Access, correction and complaints

  1. Access and correction: you can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing [email protected]. We'll respond within a reasonable period.
  2. Complaints: please email us first. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

10. Changes to this policy

  1. Updates: we'll post any changes on this page and update the date at the top.
