About KissPeptin-10
Kisspeptin-10 is a ten-amino-acid peptide, the shortest active form of kisspeptin. It matches the C-terminal end of the longer kisspeptin-54; both are cut from the same precursor protein, encoded by the KISS1 gene.
Kisspeptins activate the kisspeptin receptor (KISS1R, formerly GPR54), which is expressed on the neurons that release gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH). The finding in 2003 that loss of this receptor prevents puberty made kisspeptin signalling a central topic in reproductive neuroendocrinology. Kisspeptin-10 is used in laboratory research on GnRH release, the hypothalamic–pituitary–gonadal axis and the timing of puberty, and in receptor-binding studies.
Form and storage

2Lyophilised peptides in transit
Freeze-dried peptides travel as a dry solid in a sealed vial, which is far more robust than a solution. When the parcel arrives, move the vials to cold storage, away from light and moisture.
Frequently asked
Why does the vial look almost empty?
A few milligrams of freeze-dried peptide is a very small amount of solid. It often dries as a thin film or small cake on the base or wall of the vial, which is easy to miss. It dissolves once the vial is reconstituted.
Is bacteriostatic water included?
No. Diluent is sold separately, and the peptide calculator works out concentration and draw volume for the amount of water you add.
